The Restaurant Business and Its Different Concepts

The restaurant business is a culinary institution offering courses in exchange for money . The exchange is processed before the meal or after the meal is served. Sometimes an open account is maintained .
The timeline of the restaurant business
The food service has been prevalent since the ancient times. There was a lot of public cooks and vendors available in ancient Rome . Even medieval travelers dined at inns, taverns, inns and monasteries. In colonial America , the tradition was different in the form of legislative Publick Houses . The "restaurant" we are aware today, came into existence around the French Revolution. A part of our lives , most of us think that restaurants have their roots in the modern lifestyle . The roots go back to the Middle Ages. There are certain operations that predates the feudal era.

The modern food service was the product of the Industrial Revolution. Advances in technology led to massive food production, distribution faster , safer storage areas , kitchen appliances and other low power . As transportation improved , the demand for these public places to dine increased simultaneously. All these factors led to the unprecedented growth of what is known as the "restaurant" .

Public Figones were already flourishing in the 18th century in France, ancient Rome and Sung Dynasty China. Early French restaurants were far from the dining establishments we see today. According to Larousse Gastronomque , the first coffee set by Constantinople in 1550. These were technically cafeteria and hence the term , " cafe" . People could spend several hours here . Europe called the trend in the 17th century. France sold liquor coffees , wines and spirits together with sugary coffee.

During the French Revolution , the legal rights of the guilds were relaxed . This gave rise to hungry middle class loved the idea of egalitarianism that anyone could get paid the same meal. French chefs were quick to exploit the idea and menus that offer small portions were priced and introduced the public to consume .

Different types of restaurants
Today , a wide range of restaurant concepts . We can classify them into three categories follows :
Full service restaurants : dining experiences provided to their elite clients . Guests arrive to be seated at a table, while the hosts , servers, captains take their order to the kitchen . With a formal, unique and beautiful decoration, full-service restaurants usually follow a particular cuisine . The chefs are very experienced , and one can expect quality food with artistic performances.

The full-service restaurants include casual dining places . The atmosphere is more relaxed and they attract a wider customer base , their ability to adjust all types of customers under one roof .

Fast casual restaurants : These places offer quality food and a more upscale dining quick service restaurants . They are cheap , guests pay first and sometimes the food is prepared through an assembly line .

Quick service restaurants : Leveraging the fast delivery and convenience , fast food restaurants I usually have a set menu and inexpensive items .

Whatever the different types of restaurant, they need different foods that are fresh and affordable . The quality of the food depends on the raw material comes from companies such as Sydney Freezers . These companies have the experience and knowledge to serve the best food in these restaurants.
